We had a wonderful Christmas in Dallas and we have a few pictures to share.

Worn out!

I got a late start on Christmas shopping this year and trying to get it accomplished with two kids is even more difficult. We hit the mall at 11 today trying to get a couple more presents knocked out.... needless to say I left with two tired and cranky boys, and a couple shopping bags. YEAH for nap time!!!

What's up with Santa?

This picture doesn't tell the story behind it so let me go on.....We went to the mall today to get the boys picture made with Santa. We waited through the line once and Elijah kept saying "no, i don't want to" over and over again then when it was our turn, he held onto the gate and threw a fit. I decided no big deal, let's go. But of course once we walked off and I told him we didn't have to, he changed his mind. The bribe was Teddy Grahams and he would only agree to stand next to the chair. What is so scary about Santa? Oh and then we had another melt down afterwards because he told Santa that he wanted CARS stuff and he didn't get anything right then! Luckily Isaac complied and smiled!

The Wedding

It's been wonderful being a part of and watching God bring these two together. It is so sweet knowing that God is the center of their relationship. Their reception was a big party, we had so much fun!!

I have two almost nieces, Reese & Morgan. Reese is the daughter of our best friend's, Skip and Kate. Morgan is Justin & Sara's (Jimmy's cousin) little girl. Aren't they precious! I love these little girls!

We had a fun day at the park yesterday with our friends. Elijah, Caleb & Bo; Emma & Isaac playing, well more like eating the wood chips. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of Bella :-(

Isaac's first Thanksgiving

Isaac just gave up baby food in the last few days so for Thanksgiving, he enjoyed turkey, mashed & sweet potatoes. He loved it!

We have a lot to be thankful for!

Elijah got a haircut, finally!

His hair has been growing out for awhile....Daddy decided to cut it and it looks great. He even got a lollipop at the end for sitting still just like he normally does at the haircut place.

The weather is beautiful today, high of 70! :-) A great day for Elijah to practice riding his bike that Uncle John & Aunt Laura got him for his birthday. I don't think he would care for a helmet but it's a CARS helmet with elbow & knee pads so he loves them!

We started swapping babysitting with Kevin & Theresa (Jimmy's sister) so last night, our nephew Brandon came and hung out with us. He is so cute! We managed to get a couple pics, Uncle Jimmy being sweet to him, the boys ready for bed & Isaac trying to get in his carrier, he's a little agressive.

We got to get all dressed up and go to the car show! It was really fun seeing all the Toyotas & Scions! Yummy food, too! We had tickets to the Spurs/Bobcats game that night so we managed to make it in time for the 4th quarter and it went into overtime! Unfortunately we lost! :-( Of course we had to get pictures in front of Lexus's.

Spurs/Mavs Season Opener

Jimmy & I were able (Thanks to Matt Stewart!!) to go to the game. We had a great time. It was a quick trip, without the kids but refreshing to get away. We got a hotel room in Dallas and just got to relax the remainder of the time. Of course we also enjoyed seeing the Spurs win!
